Christ-Centered Leadership.
Rooted in Culture.
Transforming Every Village.

We train Christian servant-leaders who embody biblical truth, live out holistic mission, and faithfully serve every tribe in Mindoro.

THE CHALLENGE WE SEE

Across Mindoro, many tribes long for the hope of the Gospel,

but access to trained leaders who truly understand their culture is limited. Too often:

  • Church planting is done in ways that don’t resonate with the local way of life.

  • Ministry models overlook livelihood, sustainability, and real community needs.

  • Discipleship is shallow when learners can’t connect with the way God’s Word is taught

The result? Communities that remain unreached or disconnected from Christ’s transforming power.

At Saleng Leadership Institute (SLI),

We believe ministry should reflect both God’s truth and the culture of the people it serves.

That’s why we created a curriculum rooted in context, integrating orality strategies, transformational theological education,

and an integrated church planting model.

our vision

We are a non-profit religious organization based in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro, with a vision of “Alagad ni Kristo Bawat Tribo” a servant-leader for every village.

our mission is

to provide excellent, quality, and relevant Biblical leadership training for intercultural mission and holistic transformational ministry.

Every student at SLI is equipped not just to preach, but to live and serve holistically,

building churches, strengthening families, and leading communities into both spiritual and practical flourishing.

YOUR PART IN THE STORY

Transformation doesn’t happen alone. Whether you are:

A church seeking to partner in intercultural mission, an organization looking to support community development, or an individual with a heart for God’s mission in Mindoro —

You can help raise Christ-centered leaders for every tribe.

why does it matter?

When leaders are shaped the Saleng way, transformation follows:

Churches are planted and sustained by empowered local servant-leaders.

This is how the Great Commission is fulfilled through leaders who embody Christ’s love in every aspect of life.
